PreView: Charting Convergence

Ongoing geopolitical shifts are placing increased stress on the rules-based international system. Nowhere is this more visible than in the Indo-Pacific. The U.S. is advancing its vision for the region through the Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP) strategy. Taiwan is promoting its regional interests through the New Southbound Policy (NSP).

China Power Project director Bonnie Glaser and Senior Fellow Matthew Funaiole break down the convergences between FOIP and the NSP and highlight ways for Washington and Taipei to jointly promote peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific.
