Oculus Quest 2 Audio Mod: Massively Improving The Audio With Koss Porta Pros

Tired of the lackluster audio of the Quest 2's piped in audio. This mod will upgrade the audio to that of the original Rift CV1 using the same drivers which happen to be in the Koss Porta Pros headphones. Even some audiophiles like those. Clearer mids, highs, and strong Bass. This mod is even smaller than the Bionik Matis headphones for less bulk. I'm using the Elite Strap, but this mod should be able to retro fit other aftermarket head straps. Deluxe Audio Straps excluded for obvious reasons.

This video isn't really a how to. It's more just me recording myself doing some redneck engineering. I do go over a little bit of what needs to be done, and the end result is pretty easy to replicate.

I know that there are 3D printed mounts out there, but I wanted to see how well this would work without those, and I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Quick tip, either roll up the cable and ziptie it, or just make a new cable if you know how. These seem to have a coating that makes it hard to solder the wires, but also they are pretty delicate, so it's just easier to make a custom solution.
