Kylee's *EMOTIONAL* Adoption From Foster Care!!!

FINALLY! We have so been looking forward to sharing this day with you. On February 24th, 2020, we adopted our beautiful, amazing, and perfect daughter from foster care. Her name is Kylee Courage Craig and we are NOT WORTHY to be her parents, but are committed to loving and protecting her for the rest of our lives. In the video, I talk about praying that the first child placed with us woud be our forever son or daughter. For those that haven't heard me talk about how we support reunification goals (and have successfully seen kids go home 🎉) I just want to clarify that that prayer in no way was a prayer for biological family to fail. We knew that statistically, at some point in this journey, there would be a child who needed to be adopted. We made the decision to foster and help reunify as many children as we could until one needed to stay.... my prayer was simply that that one- who truly needed to be adopted- would be our first placement. We have a great relationship with Kylee's biological Mama. She was at Ky's adoption ceremony in support and will be a part of her life always. ❤️
