Patmos Island

Patmos is a small Greek Island located on the southeast side of the Aegean Sea in the Dodecanese. The Monastery of St John is at the centre of the Island, it was to here to which St John the Divine was exiled and from where he wrote the Book of Revelations. The main port town of the Island is Skala with a vibrant pavement cafe scene both during the day and evening. With the crystal blue seas and quite way of life Patmos is a great retreat from the daily bustle of modern life.
