Alfred "Fred" Fraser, the recipient of this letter, later goes on to marry Georgia Osgoodby (who as many of you know, is the center of the Osgoosby story as told by this collection). At this point, Alfred did not yet know Georgia (as far as I am aware) and this letter from his cousin Lulu Gardner out of Indianapolis Indiana is one of the few we have from his side before his correspondence with Georgia begins.
