Stockfish 8 DRAWS against a much weaker chess engine? How???

So I made Stockfish 8 play against the chess engine on Virtual Chess 64 to test its strength. And the result? A DRAW!
The unbelievable has happened! It's a fact now!
How could this happen??

Stockfish 8 is BLACK and Virtual Chess 64 engine is WHITE.

Time control for Stockfish 8 was 25 seconds per move and the Virtual Chess 64 engine was on level 8 which isn't even the best level. The best level is level 12, but it thinks too long on level 12 so I didn't bother with that, so level 8 it was.

And the processor of my computer is an AMD Phenom(tm) II N620 Dual-Core Processor 2,80 GHz and it's a 64-bit operating system if that is of any help.

Who can explain this mysterious phenomena?
