Macro at home idea: Easy project to practice focus and lighting

In this week's video tutorial I show an easy, beginner macro project involving backlighting a slice of lime that can be a great way to refine your technique for macro and product photography.

It's not the most dramatic image ever taken, but it's a simply way to get to grips with lighting, with close focusing and maybe even focus stacking in Lightroom and Photoshop. Better yet, it's something you can practice at home when the weather is too bad to go out and shoot in nature.
