Jeep Update: Welding on Barnes 4WD Inner C Gussets and Control Arm Skids

So I completed my very first welding project on my JKU, yeah the welds are ugly. I'm as green as it gets when it comes to welding but I have patients to learn. What did I learn? I think this would have been so much easier if the axle was removed and placed on stands for welding. With space restrictions and limited welding experience I was not able to fully box in the inner gussets with the axle under the Jeep. If I jump up to a 3.5in lift this winter I may just remove the front axle and try to fully box in the gussets. The Barnes 4WD Inner C Gussets and Control Arm Skids were a perfect fit and looked to be great quality parts for sure. I hope to increase my welding skills and tackle other projects on the Jeep to better enhance it's off-road capability. Thank For Watching.
