Loksound 5 demo: Blue NMBS/SNCB 5542, 19-07-2020

I've extended the HLD 55 Loksound 5 with "the generator" for electric heating of the blue class 55. This means that I have now one Loksound 5 version that can be used in either a normal class 55 or a blue one.
When the generator is "active" the engine is idling at a higher rpm. Although the idling rpm is higher, the driving characteristics are equal to that of a normal 55 which means you can use multiple units in the consist without any problems for i.e. TAC (Train Auto-Couchettes) or Ardennen Express.
I will upload a demo of this soon.

In addition, I made the pitch of the dynamic brake dependent on the speed but I'm not sure if this is a keeper because I'm not totally satisfied with it.
Ik heb de HLD 55 Loksound 5 uitgebreid met "de generator" voor de elektrische verwarming van de blauwe 55. Er is nu één standaard versie die voor zowel de normale als de blauwe 55 kan worden gebruikt.
Wanneer de generator "actief" is, is het stationair toerental hoger. Ondanks dit hogere toerental zijn de rijeigenschappen gelijk aan die van een loc waar de generator niet actief is zodat er probleemloos in treinschakeling gereden kan worden voor bijvoorbeeld een autoslaaptrein of de Ardennen Express. Een demo hiervan zal ik t.z.t. nog uploaden.
Daarnaast heb ik de toonhoogte van de dynamische rem afhankelijk van de snelheid gemaakt maar ben nog niet zeker of dit een blijvertje is want ik ben niet helemaal tevreden met het resultaat.
