I WISH I WAS A DANCER || A beautiful little film about humans, told from the perspective of a dancer. A short contemporary dance film.

Many thanks to all who contributed towards the making of this film.

Had the idea after realising all humans have one thing in common – we all need progression, even if we might be the best in the world at something. So, with that, I decided telling the story from a dancer’s perspective was the right way to go.

This story was inspired by actual dancers, after interviewing each one and asking them about their dancing experience. Most of the narrative is actually what they said – I just picked out the best bits!
