Section 4.4 - Circles
In this video, I discuss section 4.4 from the notes. In the previous section, we looked at one direction of the Fundamental Principle of Analytic Geometry, namely the converse implication: If the coordinates of a point satisfy an equation, then the point lies on the graph of the equation.
In this section, we look at an example of the forward implication: If a point lies on the graph of an equation, then the point satisfies the equation. in particular, the graph of the equation is a circle. - M
