www.RasaLilaHealing.com - This month is initiated by a Scorpio Full Moon on the first Sunday of May around midnight leading to an intense culmination of power, passion and emotion that we can now expect to generally wind-down as the illuminating lunar energy slowly wanes, back behind her veil, into a New Moon on the 18th. Not to say the ramifications disappear, as certainly emotional purges and displays of power can only reveal the underlying nitty gritty truth. Realizations and upsurges happening now will be foreshadowing and sending ramifications rippling throughout the upcoming Summer months. So much information can be there that (relatively) little Mercury who has just entered his home sign of Gemini can have our minds reeling as he enters his shadow phase (slowing down) this week in preparation for his “retrograde rewind” starting May 18th and taking us through June. Mercury forms three squares to Neptune throughout this period the first being this Saturday the 9th. There is a call to expand, to reflect on change, compare the past to the potential future and dream up vast oceans of possibilities. The way we fundamentally think, perceive and believe is evolving with the Sun trine Pluto all week, our identities ever-changing and pushing forward. Thursday we have a welcoming introduction to Cancer as Venus enters the sign of nurturing, family and home just in time for Mother’s day. Venus being our collective values moving from the busy sign of Gemini into the intimate waters of Cancer means a shift from networking and restless social butterfly behavior to settling down with our closest and most meaningful beloved friends and family members, creating a safe and nurturing environments for us to share and fill with warmth. As we learn more deeply about ourselves we may realize that the majority of our dis-ease arises from unnatural forcefulness; Constructs, conditions rules and regulations created by man, not nature, that teach us to survive through brute force, not nurturance.
