BLADDER CANCER CHEMO DIARY. Day 1 - MMC treatment for recurrent nmibc

Today was Day 1 of my bladder cancer chemotherapy treatment.

After recurrent non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC), I've started a 6-week course of intravesical chemotherapy using Mitomycin C (MMC), and this is my honest account of what happened during my very first treatment.

From arriving at the hospital and the emotions beforehand, to the treatment itself and how I felt afterwards, I'm sharing the reality of starting chemotherapy for bladder cancer – the bits the leaflets don't always prepare you for.

If you're about to start MMC, have recently been diagnosed with bladder cancer, or you're supporting someone through treatment, I hope this video gives you a realistic idea of what Day 1 can look like.
