Mixing and baling special livestock feed

March 20, 2019 - When dairy cows are in the dry period, they need optimal feed to be healty at and after calving.
A mixture of silage, hay and corn is made by the Van Lengerich mixer feeder of contractor Botterhuis.
Next, contractor Bomkamp makes bales of this cattle feed with the Massey Ferguson 6715S tractor with Lely baler-wrapper combination.
The Massey Ferguson 6140 tractor with Quicke fornt loader and Fliegl bale clauw collects the bales for storage.
