Studio Sketchbook from a Magazine

This workshop shows you how to manipulate a magazine and make it into a journal or sketchbook in a quick and easy way. Customize yours any way you like. Get creative!!

Supplies I used redo this anyway you like: Magazine, Gel medium,
Regular white gesso, acrylic paint several colors, some type of surface for a cover - I used a digital print on gel medium skin, brushes,
plastic clamps to straighten during and/or after drying, whatever else you need to make this your journal.

If you think this is getting too heavy-pages can be torn out in between to lighten it up. If you want less pages tear our every three to start.

Test the consistency of paints on surfaces to see what pens or markers work best for you to write and draw on the surfaces of the pages. Have fun!
