Video Description

Breaking down complex tasks into bite-sized, easy to understand steps is something that I've always had a knack for.

Which is a big reason why I started this channel
And a big reason why I started the website 80bee

I wanted a place where folks could find a familiar graphical interface
That actually lets them perform some fairly complex actions on their Android smartphone or tablet.

Since we're just using ADB to interact with the phone
It's all handled in the background.

But not everyone has access to a computer
So that's why I have been working on a native application as well.

It'll carry the 80bee name as well
Since it sounds so familiar to the letters ADB

And here's an early look
Local 80bee Actions
There will be two ways you can use the 80bee application on Android
And the first will be using the local Shizuku method

So you will need to have Shizuku installed and running
But once you have granted access to the app, you can execute ADB commands directly on the device

No need for a computer at all.
And while I'm really proud of this progress so far, I'm looking forward to the USB OTG feature even more.
USB 80bee Actions
Because, even if you don't have a spare computer laying around.
I am getting the 80bee application ready to support an OTG connection as well.

So you wouldn't need a PC anymore.
You would only need a cheap, old, spare Android device laying around.

That could be an old one that you have laying in a desk drawer somewhere.
It could be the family tablet that is left on the living room couch
Or it could be a phone that your friend lets you borrow.

But the idea is the same as the website.
So I like the idea of offering quick ways of booting into special boot modes for Android
I like the idea of automating the process of applying an ad-blocking DNS server
And setting up an all-in-one Bluetooth fixer for those times when you're having trouble playing music wirelessly.

I have even begun working on a Google Pixel Magisk patcher
That will do all of the patching work for you. . .
Originally planned for the website only. . .but this can work from an OTG connection as well
So let me know what you think about the native 80bee application down in the comments section below
Because I am really curious to hear all of the different features you would like to see added in the future.
