Jean-Claude was kind enough to share on the show today his passion for business, his inspiring mindset, view of the watch industry’s future, and how he supports new generations.

Jean-Claude Biver has spent 45 years in the watch business. In 1974, he started his career in Audemars Piguet and spent the rest of his career in the same business. In 1981, Biver purchased Blancpain and restructured it from scratch. After selling his company to Swatch Group, Jean-Claude took over the responsibility for Omega market and products, bringing Cindy Crawford, James Bond, and Michael Schumacher on board and reanimating the NASA contract. In 2004, Biver left the Swatch Group and bought the shares of Hublot.
LVMH is a company that operates in two segments, high-quality watchmaking and jewelry. They represent the reference to the art of making watches. The values behind the company are built on three pillars: creativity and innovation, quality, and entrepreneurial spirit. The team behind LVMH tries to bring in innovation and to complement the tradition in terms of material, weight, colors, and movement. They are currently working on introducing innovation via new and transparent materials.
