ModelAero FPV Polaris XL Seaplane Maiden Flight at the lake

It actually does fly despite the extra weight of the FPV gear, full body lamination and two 2200mah 3s Lipo batteries. AUW is about 48-50 ounces. I will add decals to it later.

The video transmitter was a lemon with a solder short inside causing intermittent loss of video. When I got home I opened up the can of the VTX, Jon found the short and I removed it.
Next test will be flying it off the grass to see how it does with that.
Seem like a good flying plane although it can be sensitive to the wind. The auto level from the Vector flight controller really helped counter the wind gusts.
P.S. Even though the plane is obviously built now I will continued to post the build videos as I edit the footage.
