This video does not include every single member of the Danaher Death Squad, but I have made highlight videos of several members and I thought it would be nice to compile a more comprehensive video for everyone.

Gordon Ryan Highlights
Gordon Ryan is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner who competes in the IBJJF and Eddie Bravo Invitational (ebi). He also an ADCC champion for his weight class and absolute. He is from New Jersey and is now with Team Renzo Gracie - Danaher Death Squad. He received his black belt from Garry Tonon and John Danaher. He was originaly known for his excellent use of the inside sankaku position for inside heel hooks, but now he has demonstrated to the world his mastery of various positions and submissions. He is also currently considering transitioning to mixed martial arts (MMA).

Nicky Ryan Highlight
Nicky Ryan is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under John Danaher. In this video Nicky Ryan competes in no-gi competitions. Nicky Ryan is the younger brother of Gordon Ryan and is associated with team Renzo Gracie Academy in New York. Nicky is a well rounded competitor who demonstrates a vast knowlegde and skill in a variety of grappling topics. He is most known for his leg locks and chokes from the back.

Garry Tonon Highlights
Garry "Lion Killer" Tonon is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Tom deBlass and Ricardo Almeida. He has also spent a lot of time training with John Danaher and Firas Zahabi. Interestingly, Garry was Gordon Ryan's instructor. Garry spent the first five years of his BJJ journey focusing mostly in the Gi. He is now known for being a no-gi specialst. Garry is also known as "You're mom's favorite grappler!". He is also known for his branding "Cash, Chicks, and Championships" which you can see him sporting in the last clips of this video. Garry has won a number of tournaments including 1st place at the IBJJF Pan Championship along with several EBI tournaments. Aside from being well versed in leg locks, Garry demonstrates a vast knowledge of submissions and transitions between them. In this video you will see him grab a kimura, use it to transition to a crucifix, and transition to a guillotine from there. You will see him go into heel hooks, RNC(s), guillotines, darces, knee bars, toe holds, and even completing several uchi matas on his opponents. He is a marvel to watch. I hope you enjoy this video as much I enjoyed putting it together!

Nick Rodriguez Highlight
Nicky Rodriguez "The Black Belt Slayer" was able to attain 2nd place in ADCC as a blue belt after training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for only 16 months. This earned him his purple belt. He started wrestling at the age of 12 and fell in love with it. His wrestling background shows in his competitions. He first started training jiu jitsu with Ricardo Almeida and from there he was introduced to the Renzo Gracie Academy. He says he trains jiu jitsu 5 times a week, wrestles twice a week, and lifts weights 7 days a week. All of his hard work seems to be paying off as he shows rapid progression. He also says that he is working on closing up any holes in his game. For example, although in competitions we haven't seen him play much of the guard, in training he is pulling guard to learn that part of Jiu Jitsu as well. In this video, you will see him show off his takedowns, cartwheel guard passing, back takes, and even some submissions.

Oliver Taza Highlight
Oliver Taza originally reached his purple belt under Firas Zahabi at the Tri-Star gym in Qubec Canada. Interestingly, Oliver was born in Lebanon and lived in Saudi Arabia for 13 years. While training in grappling at the Tri-Star gym he was lucky enough to meet some of the members of the Danaher Death Squad. He says that Gordon was nice enough to invited him to train at the Renzo Gracie Academy in New York. Oliver is known for having a dynamic style combining leg locks, guillotines, darces, and back takes. In this video you will see Oliver attack the legs and switch to a guillotine grip to pass the guard. You will also see Oliver going into the Inside Sankaku position and abandoning it for a back take. I also noticed him attack a darce and abandon it for a backtake as well. Watching him compete has given me a few ideas, personally, and I hope it motivates or inspires you as well!
