How to make a enamel dial

Enamel dial is produced with special technology and time consuming. The skill is carried on from generation to generation. The painters now in our company is the fifth generation. What we produced is called Miniature painting enamel dial.

First, the professional dial painter has to hand-painted with exclusive enamel materials on the dial. Then put it into the oven to dry it. The oven temperature is about 800 ℃. After taking out, check the unperfect parts on the dial and repaint.

It takes at least 10 to 20 times to paint. Some complicated patterns need 30-40 times to be finish. Even a very little of mistake will destroy the dial and everything has to be started over. Usually it will take 30 days to finish a dial.

There're only a few enamel dial watches are selling on the market, because it is a highly skilled work and very luxury. Such as Patek Philippe, Ulysse Nardin, Cartier, Vacheron Constantin etc.

The enamel dial watch is more like a piece of luxury collection. The color will never fade for hundreds years. Thus such a watch is worth to be kept for your lifetime.
