Afrobeat in 3 Remix - Vintage Premier kit and Roland Handsonic HPD15

With everyone doing split screen collaborations I thought I'd do one with myself. The Afrobeat video was shot first and posted but sounded a bit too empty. I used the Roland Handsonic to trigger a synth and some effects in Ableton Live to wake things up a bit.

The cool thing about the Handsonic is its many hidden control parameters which sometimes interact in unexpected ways. (deep menu diving is necessary...).
Each preset will react differently to virtual instruments when the Handsonic is used as a midi controller - resulting in some interesting 'accidents'. Here - when 2 notes are hit together It gives a nice synth "scream" which I had a lot of fun playing.
