For this tasting we are sampling a 2021 Three Thieves Pinot Grigio (13.5%) white wine which is primarily Pinot Grigio but has a small blend of other varietals. Three leading winemakers in the USA teamed up to make this wine hence the name "Three Thieves". They wanted to showcase this grape varietal in the best way they could...and they made a fun wine you can buy at a good price.
Tasting notes: stone fruits, pears & white peaches. Sweetness is moderate/low with nice acidity & a slight buttery texture from malolactic fermentation. Lesser notes of green apples, vanilla & floral notes. This wine has a long finish.
We are giving this wine a 3.9/5 star rating and earns a recommended.
