FINLANDIA AT MACY'S WHILE SHOPPING

Few years ago when on a commercial shoot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Anne and I were pointed to the largest operational pipe organ in the world, the Wanamaker Grand Court Organ. The organ is inside the Macy’s department store and was played twice a day. We met Grand Court Organist Peter Richard Conte who after hearing we are from Finland told us that Sibelius Finlandia is one of his favorite pieces of music. He then played extempore us and the Macy’s shoppers Finlandia, one of the most important national songs of Finland. Sorry about the camera shaking. The experience was mind-blowing.
