Americans With Disabilities Act 31st Anniversary: Kathy Hertzog

The Americans With Disabilities Act, first passed in 1996, was the world's first civil rights law to prohibit discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life–including jobs, schools, transportation, and all public and private places that are open to the general public.

To celebrate the 31st anniversary of its passing, we asked our friend Kathy Hertzog to talk about the impact of the act and what it was like to attend the signing in person!
