The WWE Title was on the line. The champion Brock Lesnar was going somewhere he's never been before against the challenger, The Undertaker, who made Hell in a Cell famous.

There was nothing that had been invented or manufactured like Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar, the youngest champion in WWE history had never been involved in a Hell in a Cell match. But Lesnar was a ruthless animal - an animal with one instinct which was to do whatever he could in order to hold on to the WWE Championship. Lesnar had all the tools it took to be the man, and he was the man.

The 12-year veteran The Undertaker was like an emotional freight train. This was about the WWE Championship, but this was also about the emotional torture that Paul Heyman & Brock Lesnar had put The Undertaker and his pregnant wife Sara through. Paul Heyman dragged The Undertaker's ex-friend into it just to play games with The Undertaker, but those mind games backfired. This was going to be The Undertaker's fifth time inside a Hell in a Cell, and he knew all the ins and outs of that cell.
