Is YouTube Shorts The Way To Grow Your Channel?

Recently, I have been posting more on YouTube shorts, and the site has been allowing my videos to get numbers and increase my subscriptions. I was struggling to get my subscription up when I would film longer form videos. But now that it has some momentum, I am both doing short and long form in order to get to YPP program. Crossing fingers it will work.
