Symptoms of a failed Shifter Cable will include:
- a Shifter that feels much easier to move than normally, while not moving the Gear indicator on cluster
-if in a gear other than park, the key will not turn all the way to lock position and key may not remove from cylinder. this will also result in the battery/charge indicator light to remain lit, causing the battery to drain.
