Laura Mercier Light Catcher Setting Powder Review | Niara Alexis

Hey hey!

Now y’all know as soon as I hear Laura Mercier had a new setting powder out I was on it. These setting powders have been a staple in my routine for years and I’m always so excited to try the latest versions.

Laura Mercier recently dropped their newest setting powder called Light Catcher. Instantly it reminds me of the Glow Setting Powder they came out with a few years ago. So going into it I had an idea what this would be like. I purchased shade Cosmic Rose because it was the recommended shade for deeper skin tones.

Let me just say this product should not be called a setting powder. This is a loose powder highlight in my opinion. It’s a beautiful highlight don’t get me wrong but it’s definitely not a setting powder. I would not recommend you set your entire face with this product unless you want to highlight your entire face. I also feel like we didn’t need this in such a large container.

It’s a great product but the name is a little bit misleading.
