SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL CARDIGAN! Knit and crochet girls cardigan OR COAT PATTERN 0-6M and up to 7 years

In today's tutorial I will show you how to knit and crochet this easy baby cardigan sweater, coat or jacket for girls between 12-18 months. The yoke is crocheted and the body is knit. You can also knit this little cardigan smaller or bigger by simply changing needle size, see below. Remember THESE SIZES ARE NOT EXACT THEY ARE APROXIMATE SINCE NOT ALL BABIES ARE THE SAME SIZE AND SINCE TENSION WILL VARY FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER

In today's tutorial I will show you how to knit and crochet this easy baby cardigan sweater, coat or jacket for girls between 12-18 months. The yoke is crocheted and the body is knit so you will need to know how to crochet. Now the sleeves are knit in the round as well using the magic loop technique but you can make them in rows too. You can also knit this little cardigan smaller or bigger by simply changing needle size and yarn weight, see below. THESE SIZES ARE NOT EXACT THEY ARE APROXIMATE SINCE NOT ALL BABIES ARE THE SAME SIZE AND SINCE TENSION WILL VARY FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER
0-6M use 3mm needles with aran, #4 or 10ply yarn (use 3mm hook for yoke)
6-12M use 3.5mm needles with aran, #4 or 10ply yarn (use 3.5mm hook for yoke)
12-18M use 4mm needles with aran, #4 or 10ply yarn (use 4mm hook for yoke)
2-3yrs use 4.5mm needles with aran, #4 or 10ply yarn (use 4.5mm hook for yoke)
4-5yrs use 5mm needles with aran, #4 or 10ply yarn (use 5mm hook for yoke)
6-7yrs use 5.5mm needles with aran, #4 or 10ply yarn (use 5.5mm hook for yoke)

To knit and crochet this baby cardigan sweater I used 4mm knitting needles and 4mm crochet hook to make the yoke for 12-18M size. The yarn I used is aran weight by Madame Tricot Merino gold. I used about 210 grams of yarn. I also used six 10mm buttons. My gauge in 2in is aprox. 20rows / 10 stitches. Thanks for watching 🙏😊
