PARVO SURVIVOR JOURNEY full recovery l Tips, symptoms, causes.

This video is to spread awareness about PARVO. Specially now that it is Parvo and Distemper season. I have 1 puppy (Maki / Machiatto) that died because of Parvo
and I have another puppy (Cara / Caramel) which is a survivor.
I'll be sharing Caramel's 1 week timeline from diagnosis up to her recovery. As well as: What is Parvo;1:00,symptoms;11:41,
causes;12:19, and tips;13:17.

MONDAY
Monday morning was when she was diagnosed with Parvo. She was dextrosed because she was not eating and drinking.
3 shots were given for immune booster, vomiting, and to stop the spread of Parvo.

TUESDAY
Caramel was stable and not vomiting nor having diarrhea yet she was still not eating. Her dextrose dislodged 11:30 PM until 11:00 AM.
We came back afternoon to give her 3 shots. Tuesday evening the dextrose dislodged again.

WEDNESDAY
We came back to the VET in the morning for her dextrose but the doctor advised to stop the dextrose since we cannot put dextrose on her
back legs since her veins are too small. The doctor and I were confident to bring her home without the dextrose since she was showing
signs of progress. Only 2 shots were given. The doctor stopped giving her shot for the vomiting. Wednesday evening starts when she
bugged down and started to vomit until the next morning.

TUESDAY
Tuesday morning, Caramel was still vomiting (14 vomits). We brought her to the VET in the morning for her dextrose and her vomiting shot.
We came back in the afternoon for her 2 other shots.

FRIDAY
She drastically progressed and ate her first meal in 5 days. We bought her to the VET in the afternoon. She was given 3 shots
and the dextrose was removed.

SATURDAY
She was better than ever. She ate and drank water by herself and was so hyper. We came back to the VET in the afternoon for
her 1 and last shot which is the immune booster. We were advised to come back a week after to start her vaccine, the 5 in 1 injection!
