74. Colpitts Oscillators Part 3 - Crystals

The most accurate Colpitts oscillator will use a crystal. This video shows the basics of setting such an oscillator up using a transistor. A testing circuit is also presented that can determine the frequency of unidentified crystals. Two circuits are analyzed and tested to verify theory.
