In this video, we’ll cover installing Google Analytics so you can track and analyze your web property traffic. When you go to set up Google Analytics, Google Analytics 4 is now the default version that you’ll install.

You can still install GA Universal Analytics, which is the previous version that most users probably have installed right now, but the option is kind of hidden. Still, it's not a bad idea to install both Google Analytics 4 and Universal Analytics and run them in parallel. This is dual tagging or parallel tracking.

We’ll go through a couple scenarios like creating a brand new Google Analytics account, installing the Google Analytics tracking code directly on your website, installing it with Google Tag Manager, connecting Google Analytics 4 property to an existing GA Universal Analytics property, and validating/testing tracking in both Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
