Today showing you a Top 5 videos of royal guards breaking their character caught on camera. Notice how I say royal guards and not the queen’s guards because a lot of these videos are from different countries how protect different things. I have found some awesome clips and some that may surprise you so. Such a heart-warming video coming and I know all of you will love this. Recorded within Stockholm the heart of Sweden by the Swedish palace you see a small boy marching with an umbrella resting on his shoulder. You then see a royal guard get into frame, so it is obvious the small boy really looks up to him as he’s tried to re-enact how they march. The little kid then does a standing to attention salute by moving the umbrella to his waist, immediately the guard copies the boy’s movements, they then start marching up and down in synchronisation which I think is so cool, the guard did break character but it was in a positive manner. You then see at the end the boy unfortunately marches away out of frame.

This video isn’t as happy as the last one as it may be seen as rude. Recorded in London in 2009 the boy in the video named Nick is seen imitating the queens guard, however in this clip the boy and the camerawomen are smirking and laughing quite a bit, so possibly the guard thought they were trying to take the mic out of him. Of course, the guards are used to tourists taking photos and other things but this guard obviously didn’t find it funny and he shows this by marching towards the boy and pushing him hard in his back. Probably my favourite video out of any queen’s guard video. This was recorded by Windsor castle, at first all that is happening are a group of Coldstream guards are marching together towards a building, a few moments later a boy who has the full queens guard uniform is saluting the group of guards. At first you think that they are just going to carry on marching and not do anything which by the way would be normal procedure just to do that because they have to stay in character guarding such an important place. However, there is one guard that luckily for the boy marches over to the boy and points him to come next to him. This is when they stand side by side and take a picture. Such a great video!
