Ray Traylor was never meant to make it in wrestling. Born in 1963, Ray was indeed a former corrections officer from Cobb County, Georgia. He was brought into Jim Crockett promotions with the sole intention of being an enhancement talent. This was nothing new back in the 80s. You'd get hired, take a pin from the big stars and hopefully you'll get brought back for more work.

Traylor would go on to be one of the most memorable legends in WWF history, The Big Boss Man. With a career spanning the 80s, 90s and 2000s, Big Bossman saw it all. From the golden era of WWF to the rise of the nWo in WCW, from the popularity of The Rock and the invasion of ECW and WCW. The Big Boss Man had a Hall of Fame wrestling career. It really is incredible that a prison officer can make it all the way in the world of Professional Wrestling.
