Bramble eats up the food that he and his brother have reserved. They need to find food or face starvation. The bears come to Logger Vick’s hut. But Logger Vick refuses to share food with the bears. Briar keeps begging Logger Vick until he finally decides to take the bears in and give them some food.

Logger Vick keeps feeding the bears and yet both Briar and Bramble are always hungry. Logger Vick becomes angry and he is ready to send the bears out. But Briar and Bramble are resolved to stay inside the hut no matter what Logger Vick does. They wear Logger Vick’s clothes, sit in his chairs and watch TV in his hut. Logger Vick is mad and he starts to shoot the bears with a rifle. But Logger Vick is no match for the powerful bears. Briar and Bramble finally take the hut over.
