Facebook Targets 'Jesus Died' Salvation Post, Threatens Account Restriction

More than a month after CBN's Billy Hallowell posted a simple social media message about faith in Jesus, Facebook suddenly sent a notice that the post "goes against...community standards on hate speech." 

An image of the April 2 post purportedly at the center of the complaint was included. The text read, "Jesus died so you could live." The initial warning from Facebook offered the ability to have the determination reviewed by the platform. 

After the review, a new message from the social media giant emerged proclaiming the post was indeed removed from Facebook, though it now appears to still be accessible. "Your appeal was reviewed and your post does not follow our Community Standards for hate speech."
