An Evening with Daniel Goleman at Dominican University of California

The bestselling author of Emotional Intelligence and Primal Leadership, Daniel Goleman reveals the hidden environmental consequences of what we make and buy, and shows how new market forces can drive the essential changes we all must make to save our planet. Golemans latest book is Ecological Intelligence: How Knowing the Hidden Impacts of What We Buy Can Change Everything. The book argues that new information technologies will create radical transparency, allowing us to know the environmental, health, and social consequences of what we buy. As shoppers use point-of-purchase ecological comparisons to guide their purchases, market share will shift to support steady, incremental upgrades in how products are made changing every thing for the better.
Daniel Goleman spoke at Dominican University of California, an event held by The Institute for Leadership Studies (ILS). ILS sponsors a variety of programs and initiatives, including leadership education and research, executive education and consulting, public forums, and community service projects. The Institute for Leadership Studies is a center of excellence in Dominican’s Barowsky School of Business, supporting the following academic programs; Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Master in Business Administration and Master in Business Analytics.
