What to be prepared for during set ups

Always keep these things in mind:

✅ Allow yourself extra time. When I was working with my clients (especially corporate clients) I was very transparent about everything on my contract, including timing. Our single display installs always was 2 hours frame even if it was something small. That allowed us to have some breathing room to troubleshoot around events and road closures that were very common in NYC, NJ and Philly.

✅ Always Bring extra!!! Even if customer payed for 10 orbs - bring 15-20. Things happen - balloons pop. Your reputation is the key!!! Loosing some money on those extra orbs that will win you a returning client - I think it’s no brainer!

✅ Always have a point person! Most of the time when you are installing at the venue - your client is not even there! Having a middle man who can guide your work will only make your life and install process easier

Listen… I’ve been in this business in many different roles for years and i understand - shit happens (excuse my French), but your reputation is what going to separate you from the competition - being prepared for unseen circumstances - will put you ahead of them all!
