The #Samoan #umu is one of the most fascinating styles in which to cook one’s food. Young men from #Samoa have cooked this way for over a 1,000 years.
In today's vlog, we have removed the initial preparation of the pig, as the original video was age-restricted because of the preparation. But we still show the rest of the umu prep. It's a great educational opportunity to learn how and why Samoans prepare foods the way they have for generations. It was an awesome day at Tailua Beach Fales! Miss Samoa New South Wales contestant, Christie Temareti, even came for dinner to enjoy the delicious umu cooked meal!
