Cherubino, the mischievous little page, simply cannot contain his energy--and his infatuation with every lady in the household. He confides in Susanna, worried that his tendency to get in trouble suddenly has consequences. He expresses his confusing, conflicting emotions in one of the most famous mezzo arias in opera.
