Israeli scholar debunks Zionist narrative

"How can a Jew come from Ukraine to Palestine and say this country is mine."

Israeli anthropologist Jeff Halper, in an interview with Witness Eye, questioned the legitimacy of Jewish claims to Palestine based on ancestral or religious narratives.

Halper says such stories are used to justify the displacement of Palestinians, rather than reflect historical rights.

"If you didn’t have a story to tell, you’d just be a criminal."

His comments made waves across social media for suggesting a critical perspective on how identity and land claims have been framed in Israel's occupation of Palestine.
