I Made a Pajama Set From a Thrifted Curtain (Easy Sewing Tutorial)

I found this semi-sheer cotton curtain in a thrift store and turned it into a lightweight summer pajama set.

In this tutorial, I'll show you how I made a simple rectangle top and elastic-waist shorts using only a sewing machine and a straight stitch.

This is a beginner-friendly sewing project and a great way to give thrifted fabrics a second life.

Measurements used in this project:

• Top width: 60 cm
• Top length: 40 cm
• Elastic width: 35 mm
• Top elastic length: 72 cm total
• Shorts elastic length: 62 cm total
• Ties: 2 cm × 50 cm

You can easily adapt this design into:
• a dress
• wide-leg pants
• a matching summer set
• a shirred top
