RECIPE for Terra Cotta Chalk Paint:
Mix 1/3 cup of Plaster of Paris with 1/3 cup of room temperature water. Stir the mixture until it's completely smooth.
Mix the plaster and water mixture with one cup of flat latex paint. Stir thoroughly.
*Make sure you are using FLAT paint. Home Depot's sample size is exactly the right amount
I use the Ace Hardware Clark+Kensington brand paint for the PERFECT terra-cotta colors. You can take a sample card to Home Depot and have it color matched for less
light terra cotta- Darjeeling 11A-4N
dark terra cotta- Charley's Horse 11A-5N
