Essential Exercise Part II - Hand Speed, Strength and Endurance. Avoid Wrist Injuries.

The Essential Exercise was designed to give you an introduction to resistance exercise to help support your drumming/hand related percussion. The great force output you can generate through you hands, the faster you'll be, the better endurance you'll have and more importantly, you'll decrease the likelihood of injuries!

Injuries from drumming are often a by product of over-use and lack of conditioning. You muscles are designed to help absorb and manage force. Absorbing that energy and dissipating it as heat among many joint systems. The better you can contract, the better you can absorb and you'll be less likely to get injured.

You will need a Dumbbell/Free Weight to get started. I'd suggest getting something small to get started.
