🖱️Instalar un mouse en MS-DOS 6.22: puertos PS2 y serie DB9. Drivers y personalización del cursor.

En este video os voy a enseñar cómo podemos instalar un ratón en MS-DOS 6.22 nativo. Vamos a usar dos ratones antiguos de Microsoft, uno con conexión por puerto serie DB9 y otro con conexión por puerto PS/2 (o PS2). Usaremos dos drivers diferentes: Cute Mouse v1.9 (FREEDOS) y Microsoft Mouse Drivers v9.01.
Veremos también cómo personalizar el puntero de nuestro mouse, utilizando el software Precise Point Configuration v1.11.

NOTAS:
1) Estos mismos drivers funcionan con ratones ópticos.
2) Dado que MS-DOS 6.22 no tiene soporte nativo para USB, si queréis instalar un ratón con este puerto deberéis habilitar la opción "Legacy USB support" en vuestra BIOS.

In this video I am going to show you how we can install a mouse in native MS-DOS 6.22. We are going to use two old Microsoft mice, one with a serial port DB9 connection and another with a PS/2 (PS2) port connection. We will use two different drivers: Cute Mouse v1.9 (FREEDOS) and Microsoft Mouse Drivers v9.01.
We will also see how to customize our mouse pointer, using the Precise Point Configuration v1.11 software.

NOTE:
1) These same drivers work with optical mice.
2) Since MS-DOS 6.22 does not have native support for USB, if you want to install a mouse with this port you must enable the "Legacy USB support" option in your BIOS.
