Toddler Killed In Violent Rollover Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1205am 10-30-23
LOCATION: Northbound 288 at 59 interchange
CITY: Houston
DETAILS:

HPD and HFD responded to reports of a rollover crash
Adult female driver and adult male passenger and children inside a Chevy Tahoe
vehicle rolled over, injuring all occupants
2 adults, and children ages 7, 3 and an infant were all transported
the 3 year old sustained head injuries from the crash, and succumbed to their injuries at the hospital
Prelim info- Female and drunk boyfriend passenger were arguing while on the road. Male allegedly grabbed the wheel and the SUV flipped during the dispute
Female driver shows no signs of impairment, but VCD will double check to ensure that is accurate
Working to confirm that there may have been additional children inside the vehicle
