Bilateral shoulder dislocation

This is a patient who presented with severe bilateral shoulder pain after doing Crossfit. Bilateral shoulder series were obtained. The first radiograph of the left shoulder demonstrates anterior inferior glenohumeral dislocation with uncovering of the glenoid as indicated by the red arrow. The green arrow demonstrates a comminuted fracture of the greater tuberosity of the left humerus. The second radiograph of the right shoulder demonstrates anterior inferior glenohumeral dislocation with uncovering of the glenoid as indicated by the red arrow. The green arrow demonstrates a comminuted fracture of the greater tuberosity of the right humerus. Findings are consistent with bilateral glenohumeral dislocation. Anteroinferior shoulder dislocation is the most common direction of dislocation. Posterior dislocations as well as a purely inferior dislocation are significantly less common. PF245
