Nestled deep in the southern hills of Kyoto Prefecture, Wazuka is one of Japan’s most important tea-producing regions, responsible for a large portion of the prized Uji tea. The village is surrounded by breathtaking terraced tea fields that cascade down the hillsides — honestly, one of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen in Japan.

The stunning tea field you see in this video is Ishidera no Chahatake 石寺の茶畑— and right in front of it sits @dandancafe_wazuka, a charming café where you can enjoy drinks and light meals with that incredible view as your backdrop. ☕🌿
