Bibi and Sheba discover that there is a haunted house on the outskirts of Newtown. That’s why Mr. and Mrs. von Shiver can’t live there. The two young witches fly there on their broom sticks and actually meet a ghost. Because their magic and his haunting get tangled up, all the windows and doors disappear and they get locked in the house. They can only get out when the magic ends. But for this to happen, the ghost needs to give Mr. von Shiver a form of inheritance from his ancestors. Bibi conjures him up but Mr. von Shiver is very scared of the ghost and the ghost has forgotten where he has hidden the inheritance. Bibi, Sheba and Mr. von Shiver start an exciting search through the cellar and halls of the old house.
