The game that LISTENED to fans

XDefiant's path to now has been filled with ups and downs, but after almost 2 months since it's release it seems to of hit the mark for fans. But the question is what made players gravitate to the new game from Ubisoft? Was it the gameplay? Or maybe the free to play offering? In my opinion, it's a little bit of everything, with one fan centric mindset that gave them the jump they needed to succeed. While this isn't a xdefiant review per se, it's a bit more of delving into what people like about xdefiant gameplay, and how it can stay successful.
